Go 60 Conference aims to celebrate Giorgio Ottaviani's 60th birthday by bringing together mathematicians working in both pure and applied algebraic geometry for a week-long meeting in the mountains, featuring talks about the most recent progresses in these fields, and lots of time to interact and discuss about mathematics. Giorgio is the representative at University of Florence (UNIFI) in POEMA project.
The conference is a CIRM-FBK event. Due to the current pandemic situation in Italy, it will take place entirely online, streamed live on Zoom. Bernard Mourrain (Inria), POEMA's scientific coordinator gives a talk on Wednesday, 23rd June.
