UiT Tromsø, a beneficiary in POEMA will organize two summer schools on the topic of "Mathematics & Data" and "Real algebraic geometry" next June 2020.
Both summer schools are aimed at Phd students, Postdocs and advanced master students with interests in mathematics, algebra, geometry or topology. Cordian Riener who is the representative of UiT in POEMA is one of the active organizers of these summer schools:
- a summer school “Mathematics and Data”, June 2- June 6, 2020 with Bernd Strumfels (a POEMA Advisory Board member) as a speaker.
- a summer school on “Topics in real algebraic geometry”, June 21 - June 27, 2020 with Claus Scheiderer (a POEMA member) as a speaker.
Registration is needed for both summer schools.
